Home learning? It may sound fun as it is learning at home, and you can choose when you want to rest and when you want to learn. I used to think that way, until the time that the school decided to have one week of home learning. Thinking that it was slack, we played during the break. But after a while, we realise that we did not do much, then we panick. Sometimes the workload can be so much that it drags over the break time. And the whole time we are staring at the computer screen, straining our eyes. So it is not a good thin, at least, to me.
How effective it is? Its effectiveness is low as the students tend to get distracted, without the teacher to spervise. Then the students will rush to complete their work and in the end they did not learn much. Miscommunication on the Internet also caused more confusion and students may not see the instruction properly and other misunderstanding.
